Don't tell George there are so many up there...because then there wouldn't be. He loves to visit my grandparents, pellet gun in tow, to check out all the bunnies.
Natalie that is so funny because Bart just brought home a book that teaches all about human poop. Would you like me to send a copy to your boys?
Sara, how does George feel about ground squirrels? We have plenty of those at our house too. They are a true menace! He is more than welcome to check out all the ground squirrels he wants out here!
The complete answer is: because on Saturday he took all three girls school shopping ALL DAY! He took them to lunch before they shopped and to dinner after they shopped. With all that female conversation about cute boys, cute clothes, make-up, hair, padded vs. underwire bras... He deserved his book. He and Cameron laughed and laughed yesterday as they read it together; a very special kind of male-bonding experience!
Bart took Cameron school shopping a few days prior to taking the girls; however, that experience was a lot less traumatic for him. He came home quite relaxed That night...
Your grnpa Melton used to raise bunnies and they often graced our dinner table. But, if they were going to grace our table, and the pelts I remember in our shed, he had to remove the Mamma from the babies quick as he knew they were there. Naughty, naughty mamma.
Chickens, chickems and eggs. I remember them well, also. For awhile they were in our kennel (dogs gone) and it became my job to throw scraps to them. We also had them in the coops for awhile. Then, I would gather eggs. We even had some banty (sp?) chuickens for awhile, with their cute tiny eggs.
Auntie Jo got bitten by a mouse from putting her hand into the feed bag; I don't remember which little critter we were raising at the time. We only went to the Dr. for grave emergencies and that was grave, indeed! Poor little thing, she had to have a shot~to prevent the grave from claiming her!

You have so many animals where you live. You need to start charging people to see them.
