Girlie Girl

We are in the process of painting Ashley's room. She decided to go from baby blue to girlie girl pink! After spending several hours getting the room to this point, I just had to curl my hair and paint my toenails...the same color as the dark pink in her room! Very fun!

We're hoping to have this finished by tomorrow evening....Wish me luck, bloggers!

Wow, that's a lot of work. Who's helping you?

This will be a totally cute, totally girly girl room when you are done! Does she get pink bedding too?

Judy - my left hand is helping my right hand. And yes, it is a lot of work; but I'm enjoying it. My next bedroom painting project will be Cameron's room - he wants flames on one of his walls. Oy!

Dawnae - She got the idea from the Victoria Secrets shopping bag. She has learned to find inspiration everywhere

Janet - I love pink toes! I had forgotten how much I loved pink, too. Our house is painted in earthy tones - very comfy.

LaRae - We thought about pink bedding, but when we saw how much the pink of the walls reflected off itself, we decided the reflection ould cause a nice soft pink, that will match perfectly, on her white bedding. (Pink can be a tricky color to match! Don't you agree?)

By-the-by to all of you who gave me advice on digital camera's, I've decided to get the one LaRae has. However, being the smart woman that I am, I am not going to pay for it out of my budget...I'm going to wait for Christmas and ask Santa for it! This gives me something very exciting to look forward to... (Lauren continues to put her camera away in different places in an effort to keep her mama away from it. Stinker!)

I'm anxious to see this one. You know how I love PINK.
Good choice, Ashley. I hope you put a lot of work in beside your mom.

These stripes remind me of a photo that I saw of Valerie's great-grandfather, in Yuma, wearing a striped prison outfit. He was sent to prison for practicing polygamy. As I recall, he was quite proud of that outfit and kept it as a souvenir.
