Above, Bart and Cameron pose for me, but to the left I caught them in their natural "giving him a Noogie" state.
And lastly this is Miss Ashley who was the only female who allowed me take more than one picture of her. She's fun and adorable with a cute, infectious giggle! Come on Bethany and Lauren! You've got to allow your mother some fun and let her take more pictures of you!

Really, really cute pix of your family! It's not fair when our kids don't let us take pictures. They owe us!
Is it weird having non blonde children after growing up in an all blonde family? I'm still convinced that Zac is blonde.
Yes girls! More pictures, you just cannot deny your mother, you will regret it when you become mothers! Okay so much for the lecture.... :) I am loving seeing your vacation pcs. Did you get a new camera??? They are real clear, they look really good.
No, it's not really weird, especially since Bethany had a full head of dark hair that stuck straight up from her head when she was born. Do you remember we called her "our little baby burrito" because she looked Mexican from that dark hair and dark skin?!
And Cameron has always been dark. Lauren & Ashley's natural colors are blonde, but not nearly as blond as we were. They are more golden-strawberry blondes. Lots of different colors in their hair.
No I didn't get a new camera. When my digital went kaputz, I remembered my film camera, you know the kind we old folks grew up on, and have been using that lately. It is a very nice camera. I have some nice pictures from it from years ago but need a scanner to be able to upload and blog about them.
It is inconvenient, and proving to be quite expensive, to have to buy and then develop film...especially since you have to develop all the pictures, no matter how good they are or aren't. But the good thing is that when you develop your film, you can also have the pictures put on CD. I like that option. (I wonder if I can just have them put on CD? I'll have to ask.)
(Using film seriously, or as I say about my art efforts - sincerely, offers many options for how you can manipulate images once there is a working knowledge of dark rooms, etc. This in itself is art that I admire.)
About 6 years ago or so Judy took Lauren & Ashley to the University of Redlands (the grounds are very beautiful) and took some pictures of them that were fun, casual and just adorable. They want to go back and have me take more pictures of them, some in color and some in black and white. I believe we will go on Friday, but that depends on if all the girls are here, I want them all to participate. Anyway, as soon as we get those done, you can bet a post will take place!
I am still seriously considering another digital camera for two reasons: Bart will use it for his Real Estate ventures and I will use it for when I need to set up a "scenery" for paintings, like for the picture I have begun for the church competition. (I have decided I really need to work from pictures I have taken of things I have set up myself.) A digital, like LaRae's, would afford me so many options of how I capture the images along with the financial benefits of not having to use film. (And I wouldn't have to sneak my girls' cameras out of their rooms anymore!)
Whew, a very long answer to a short question!
Mic, if I come out on Friday, we can go to the U of U for pix. Best light is an hour or so before dusk. Will your girls be there? Or you can brig them here to the beach.
I believe they will be here. I will ask them if they would prefer the Univ. or the beach.
